My articles have been put in sites making my own site as duplicate content website, therefore penalized by Google...
ou should keep your own article on your own site, making it the only one with that particular content...

Good point. Typically if I am going to post an article to a directory I will change a few words here and there to make it unique. It is a little extra work, but it can really save your you know what.

Great article, you rehashed 5 obvious link building methods that have been stated thousands of times on this forum.

 

These techniques were all incredibly obvious, sorry to be negative, but it doesn't add any real value.

 

Yep make sure you write custom articles for article directories. Article directories can be very powerful for backlinks and affiliate if used right.

I am really sorry for those who didn't like this post. These are the basics for beginners and not for the experienced Webmasters!

 

Always good to follow up on the basics. I don't think anyone should be coming down on the post. There's people that come here all the time that are just getting started and reading a clear article like that helps them.
