I'm quite new to adsense, I have 3 websites and one of them does pretty well for saying how new it is........ My question: Does a website with a heap of content as opposed to a site with say just one page do better with adsense? I have a theory but I just wanted to know what the experts think.
I am not an expert but more content means more fodder for search engines and more traffic and if the content is relevant and good, repeat traffic and more money . Best of luck
Well i guess if you follow the logic, more pages with ads, more chances for the user to click. On the other hand one single page with ads might get clicks as well but probably because the user wants to click on something ....
The advantage of a multi paged site is you can optimize different pages for different keywords so you have an increased presence online. That means more high rnking pages if you do your SEO right and thus more potential for adsense earnings

Thats right, probably the main reason why older domains do so well. Because it takes ages for your links to show in google....
If those extra pages get traffic then it stands to reason you'll get extra clicks. However some people have pages on sites that never get a visitor or just 1 or 2 a year. You need to do key word research for any new pages you add to ensure it has achance of getting visited.
more content means more probability those pages have good position on google SE. I have 1000 pages and 100 of them in the first page in google se for specific keyword.
When compared with the number of pages, traffic matters. Obviously, a one page site with more hits because of heavy traffic gets more bucks than a site with 1000+ pages with less traffic. Concentrate more on the traffic and to get more traffic, keep an eye on the content and SEO
Content is the king...So the more interesting contents you have the more pages view, the more chances that your ads will be clicked

I say more content and pages. The one thing that I like is have multible pages. Thats different from one page to another with completly different content, that means a variety of adds will show not only on one subject.
Heaps of unique content, Yes you will reap the rewards. Heaps of duplicate crap won't generate much traffic and thus revenue.
hi, yes more content does mean more revenue but its not always the case! as there's loads of sites with only a few pages & they have a massive amount of traffic & still earn well.
