I don't want to make some cheap advertisement (cause it's not, I'm just sharing experience) here but maybe you should take a look at lacehost. I picked a proxy package from them 2 days ago and the performance is impressive so far. And it is very cheap aswell. Like 1/2 of that monstrous thing if i remember right.

Wait, first start out small with the smaller proxy hosting packages. Only switch to bigger ones when you have the traffic and are using a lot of resources. You'll be paying that extra money for nothing and will have lots of bandwidth left over if you don't plan properly. Besides, you can always upgrade packages.

Just to remind you, i give Glype proxy hosting for 3 banners ( proxified pages ) on a dedicated server. Need 500 GB bandwidth ? i give you 1TB pure bandwidth in exchange only for those 3 banners on the proxified pages.

Note : i will not give you FTP access because i don't want everyday to search if you removed your ads or not from the proxified pages and second there are some technical restrictions regarding the number of domains in the control panel.

How it's working ? simple, you point the domains to my server, send me the templates you want to use and i upload them to the server. If you have more than 20 proxies it's true, will take some time but i'm here if interested...

I just checked out lacehost, they are overselling their BW mate though not to a high extreme like what other proxy hosts do. Their servers may be fast in the beginning but once lots of users start taking advantage of their low prices, you will find their servers beginning to lag severely as they cannot afford to cover their hosting costs with such low prices and over-promising of BW.

The main issue for proxy hosting is RAM and CPU usage, by giving too much BW those overselling hosts are gonna face a big problem when their clients start using all the BW given then by then your account might be suspended due to high usage of RAM and CPU, dont say I never warn you mate :)'

My vote still goes to hosts like Monsterprox and Techentrance for proxies, their services are very good with fast speed and uptime and they do not oversell their packages at all.

Monsterprox has stellar customer support and they have a 1 month free offer currently.

Customer support is a major issue now for me as i was screwed by a host with poor customer support.

Hey Dr.Fix, 1 question where does most of your traffic comes from?

Personally I get over 200k impressions daily in adbrite for proxies but 80% of them comes from US and the remaining come mainly from UK and Aus. With such huge impressions it might seem that I should get a ban from them as well but apparently I have not gotten any ban. The only ban I remembered was when they sent me an email closing down 1 of my proxy spots and that was because that proxy was getting over 90% China traffic.

So through these experiences I reckon that if you provide good traffic from US etc they would not ban you, in fact they would love you instead ;)

I completely agree. Support is a very important issue when it comes to hosting especially on proxies when downtime is such a crazy issue that could cause the wipeout of all the hard work of proxy promotion. I am glad Monsterprox has never failed me so far in their friendly support staff and excellent uptime.

Well of course china has a great percantage of my traffic but thats not the only traffic i get.It was my 2nd month in adbrite.the first month was ok because i setup only 3 proxies to adbrite but this month i changed my mind and i set all my proxies proxified pages to adbrite..And it was only 27$ this month its like 20x less then google adsense...Seems adbrite is good at one thing as i said earlier.Blaming the publisher for everything and making excuses...But when it comes to money they tell you "we carefully inspected your account" Carefully?Inspected?Well then congratulations..I think adbrite is better then google adsense in this carefully inspection thing:mad:So good that you want my server logs and my ids

I think it's safe to say that there is no better paying ad network than adsense.
However you can not use adsense on proxifed pages unless you want to risk losing your adsense account.

So unfortunately we are all stuck with these lower paying alternatives.

Hi guys. Finally got the theme working on my proxies so I'm really advertising. Want to get each proxy upto $1/day in a matter of days. Is this likely? Want to make around $90 in a month from 5 proxies... What are some good ways to advertise? I'm getting a few links, and also posting Myspace Bulletins, but I need some more ways. Also, where is the best place to sell proxies?
