Hmmm, I didn't knew about blinklist.

To get on digg you need to submit your site, or news there. If your story is good enough you'll get a lot of traffic. If is not good enough, you still can get a couple thousand visitors something around 1000 or 2000 maybe.

You add the digg it option to your articles..

It all depends on what kind of site you are trying to promote.. Like an osComerce would have different methods that a blog space! :)

adwords is ALWAYS good.. IF you have a steady income coming from your site, otherwise its just burning money!

There are many articles on how to advertise properly, however the best method is to research yourself, where do YOU go to find stuff like your site, where would YOU like to find it etc etc..

    Traffic is useless unless targeted!

I've tried stumble, you get a nice boost but it does not last. Then four or five weeks later you get a nice boost again, but it is not targeted. what works for me is writing articles, posting in forums and submitted a press release.

I think Guest Blogging is not really that new, as I saw some guest posts at Problogger which was posted years back. Anyway, I suppose Guest Blogging is better in terms of immediate traffic but only a short period of time and it depends on how strong the blog the guest blogger submitted it.

For article directories, it can help a lot for link building. Although the traffic may be slow, but it more continuous then the former.

I have done both and this is only based on my observation.

What do you do to receive traffic from yahoo answers? You simply post there? How often? How many posts per month? And what kind of traffic do you receive? How many visits per day, per month?

    Thanks.

Twitter is a proven method of getting traffic using social networking, PM me for more info :)

However you may also delve into other social media such as Stumbleupon etc.
