Adwords completely dead

I built up my company solely relying on Adwords (yes...a mistake as I know now). I spent like 35.000 Dollars on Adwords and got 120.000.000 impressions and 100.000 clicks.

Now things have turned into a nightmare. Because my campaign was too inefficient (as the market had changed and there was no demand for my product anymore) Adwords lowered my quality ranking. Not a big deal I thought and rebuilt my whole website, offers and campaigns. I optimized it as much as I could.

The thing is when I start a new campagin now Adwords immediately lowers my rating to 2 out of 10 or so...that is without even giving me even a single impression !! As a result of this when I bid like 1 or 2 Euros a click I only get like 5 to 10 impressions (not clicks...impressions) per day.

When I contact support they tell me that my campaign is working as I get impressions (yeah 5 to 10 a day :( ). I asked them to reset my rating but they won't. They say Adwords will re-rate my ads automatically but with the amount of impressions I get that won't happen before hell freezes over.

I am sure I would get a great amount of clickthroughs if I could start over but my account has such a bad rating now that it is basically unusable and Adwords' Support refuses to do anything. They are telling me if I want to get it going again I can bid 10 to 20 Dollars a click as suggested by their system.

I even tried to open up a new Adwords account but as soon as I enter my site's domain the ratings go down immediately. Is there any way I can get it going again ?

Unfortunately the best way to go about starting afresh is to buy a new domain and use a new account. Good luck!

If your getting a QS of 2 out of 10 you probably are missing some important landing page features.

Message me the link to your landing page and I will let you know if I see anything that is missing that will help you QS go back up

In the meantime I even tried increasing my offer to 60 EUROS PER CLICK ! It still tells me that my rank is too low to appear on page one:

Now note that I am ranking 8th out of 60.000.000 under the keyword we are talking about. Despite ranking 8th out of 60.000.000 it tells me my "keyword relevance isn't good". Yeah, that used to be true cause I had a shitty campaign. But now I optimized it and made a whole new offer that is unresistably good and I know it would get tons of clicks but of course not on page 130 :( Damn... this is so fucked up.

    Hi,

Why you think like that, and also you know your mistake, take time to rethink and restart your campaign with new ideas with planning .

    Best of luck ,

I have a a/c more than 3 year old and campaigns are fine working, leads are coming every day, and i am happy with that

I presume you refer to organic search. I know how you feel. I have some similar problems. Clearly, the Adwords bot and Googlebot measure relevance very differently!

Another problem I have is Google's assertion for some of my keywords that
Okay, it is "poor" QS and "apparently" irrelevant (keyword does not appear on my site or in my ads) which I can understand YET, searchers who click through to me on those keywords generally stay longer and look at more pages than average. So, what are Google basing their assertion on? I am afraid we are still a long way from computers really understanding the workings of the human mind (which is why I personally hate all this cr*p about "personalised search" - but that is another story.)

    The Damn Good Suggestion :)

Only a Few ( 1% or like so) are earning through Google Adwords... Rest are making brand.

    Try some other ppc...

and if you have good money to make brand .... Go Ahead.

    Thanks
    Sam

I pointed out that he/she makes stupid pointless posts and said they must be link spamming. Someone said they think it's a bot. It doesn't type anything of substance, just stupid stuff, that's slightly relevant, or posts that are almost copied from others. :)

A lot more businesses than 1% are making money through AdWords. Try 90%.

Standard use of AdWords with generic keywords great for building brand awareness.

Tactical use of long tail keywords with action driven text a great way to generate income

Yes, can everyone please leave adwords so we can have it to ourselves...

    :)

It could be what you're promoting too. They tend to change their minds on allowable content every so often.
