BUT; whats up in opening new conflicts by saying.. "I will send forces to Pakistan".. when last i looked, he was contesting for US presidential elections and not for President of Pakistan. Everyday here for us brings a new 9/11. Not only the armed forces are fighting damn terrorists but now even tribal locals themselves compiling armed personnel to drag them out of our area.. with full honesty.. we hate US troops more than the terrorists. Once you bring them in.. all those fighting extremism will instead unite against you. senator says.. "Pakistanis should understand".. well i tell you what.. the lecturers you'll push into the tribal belt to teach the locals.. will never respect you. you'll face death more than Iraq and Afghanistan.. With PAK general remarks.. "We will protect our dignity at full cost".. and with border security forces firing at US choppers one should understand that this aint republican guards or taliban.. its a far more professional army.. no one supports damn suiciders or pushing planes in high rise buildings or dragging a explosive full dumper truck in 5 star hotel.. the point is.. help us fight the mother fuckin Afghan war lords who got no future.. by intelligence sharing and advance weaponry. That's the problem. The U.N. charter gives us the right to operate in the border regions if Pakistan is unable or unwilling to deal with the problem themselves.

Hey, I am from India, lemme clarify first, and before you reach any conclusion, read the post. I think America, or American troops would not help another nation with weaponry or intelligence even in the last of their dreams now, considering that the current Afghan problem is pretty much an offspring of America's 'resource' allocation policy. I think the US troops need to withdraw and let live. Obama would be a good leader, for sure, and it would be better if he focuses more on reviving the economy back home rather than flexing his muscles in the International arena

But we should be aggressive in our right to carry out operations in the border area, which much of it, is not really controlled by a sovereign state, including Pakistan. If Pakistan is really against terrorism then they should allow us to operate in the region. Of course, we know the Pakistani government could never openly support the US because there are too many radical muslim citizens in Pakistan who hate the US.

It's good you recognize the imbalance. Maybe you should get the word out to your fellow countrymen that they should spend more time protesting terrorists, which are the cause of the problems, instead of sympathizing with them.

I think Obama will be more aggressive against terrorist using the badlands of the border of Pakistan than the Bush administration has been.

I don't know if Obama is all talk or not., But he may be correct on how to handle the border. Regan seemed to accomplish a lot by talking big and Obama may be taking that trait from Regan. We will see in January. I think Obama will cut the Pakinstan flow of US taxpayers money off.
Pakistan isn't a easy situation, if you don't help prop up individuals there is a likelihood that nuclear weapons can fall into the hands of terrorist.
