What do you think of my new blog Sell that Site.

Its a blog that talks about selling/flipping website.

 

The site looks good but I think the header is occupying a little too much
space on the page, it would look better if you made it smaller. I think you
should add more written content to the page. For seo purposes you should
add a unique title to the page which should contain some of your most
important keywords.

 

Nice looking site.. You may want to align your "entrecard" banner with your "advertise here" banners.

I enjoyed the intro for your vlog.

Another thing.. I noticed in your vlog that you mentioned something about "if you want to make lots of money flipping sites dont follow my guide" I think some people may hear that and click away. They are looking to make money..

Also.. may want to add a title within your HTML so your page wont display as http://sellthatsite.net.. unless of course that was your plan.

 

Thanks for the advice. Since I don't make a LOT of money, I didn't want people to be ticked or disappointed at me when my tips don't make them big bucks.

 

Even if you were making millions of dollars a year.. another person will never be able to duplicate the exact same results. It will all depend on there determination and the skill they have. Perhaps flipping websites is just not meant for them.

I have thought about flipping websites but I just dont have the patience for it.. or the knowledge of what I would do with them. I own 40+ domain names all parked because of that.

 

True. Thanks for the tips. 40+ domains??? WOW. I own around 10 or so. Whenever I can't find a way to use the domain for my purposes I just throw up a quick site and try and flip it. It usually works and earns me $15+.

 

The header looks nice. I could not find any section listing out the posts.The last ad block is more aligned towards the left than the other four.

There's nothing wrong with saying "if you're looking to make a TON of money doing what I do, don't follow my guide". You're being honest. That will make people stick around.

I have one excellent tip for you. Fix the typo in your DP signature so peeps can click on your site!

Well it's nice to see an Adsense site that actually has some info on it.

 

Thanks man. Yea, I may remove the adsense if I get some private advertisers. Adsense is just a way to earn an itty bitty bit of money off the site until I get some real advertisers.

 

I think you can improve that banner. I see that it has a drop shadow that was cut before it ended in the lower, left and right sides. On top is ok. Just edit it in Photoshop and decrease the shadow a bit or cut lower and wider.
There is some usefull white space at the top too tht can be removed, maybe decrease it a bit.
Nice effect on the "Flips" text from the banner
