help with affiliate payments, am i being scammed ?

I'm really new to all this Internet marketing, and promote a couple of products as an affiliate, I'm making slow progress, and would like the advice of the experts here.

This particular product, has their own affiliate program, and recently got an automated email stating i had made an affiliate sale, and would get $47 commission, but when i logged in , it showed zero sales.

I emailed them, and they told me it was a mistake, and i would not get anything........I Felt a little disappointed, but accepted it.

last Friday i got another email saying congratulations, you have made $47 affiliate commission, and again logged into affiliate program ......... no sale again, and was told " it was in fact a sale of another affiliate, and they are getting the affiliate commission , not you".

Since then , i have found out that the affiliate who got the commission is a partner of the product developer !

Do you think i am being ripped off ? Is this a possible scam?

I've worked hard to promote this product, and put up a page on it's own domain and now feel I'm wasting my time.......... Please help me with any advice or suggestions.

You could help us by telling us which affiliate program you are talking about.

 

They are using Post Affiliate Pro on their own server !

 

I feel sorry to hear about your problem.
Could it be you have made a wrong affiliate link which is not under your id ?
Just guess only.

 

Thanks for your concern, but all the ID, affiliate links, and all details are correct, they just send me emails saying a sale is made , then take it away!

@ lichao........ Thanks man, i've come a long way to give up just yet, but it's not nice to be given something then have it taken away (twice)...... imagine how I would have felt if this was my first affiliate sale!

No, all my links are cloaked.......... I'ts no the fact that someone else is getting the commissons, it's just really gets beyond a joke repeatedly getting " You have made an affiliate Sale" only to find your not getting paid!

lol then we can't really help you....we have no idea what network it is so we can't tell you if others have had similar problems.

To be honest I have no idea why that is happening. I've never heard of anything like that before.

 

We can't look to see if anyone else have any bad experiences with the company if we don't know which one it is. In that case you just have to use your better judgement.

 

If you could share with us the program or network then others may be able to share their own experiences with you.

 

if you want us to help you are going to have to tell us the program lol...

you are def being scammed lol. When the affiliate commission is being added to your account they are probbaly erasing it. There are quite a few networks that do this... they will get a heap of members and then just scam them all lol.

If i were u id post the network in a new thread.... and then say AVOID! or sumthing like that

 

As I said, I'm new to all this, and everyone keeps mentioning "network" what does that mean, can you give me an example ?

 

What they mean was what program you are joinning that causing you wasted your valuable time or what are the product you are marketing now.

Example , affiliate payload, commission blueprint,secret affiliate weapon,secret affiliate code, internet marketing uncut and so on.
