I tried clicking my ad form yahoo about 200 a day then i rose to the top of the search engine. I wonder if anybody else tried this and i wounder if it worked well for them.
Kirby, I quite have a difficulty in understanding what you said. Would you please elaborate, and I'd be very grateful. Thanks!
i dont really feel clicks on your ads gets u better rank on search engine ... must be a co incidence thths all.
Well, being clean and straightforward never hurts. Well, it might be exciting to click ads on your own site. Well, to me it feels like, making dinner after inviting friends and eating it ourselves. This very thought in my mind helps me not to click ads on my site. Besides, you could do better stuff, like increase the traffic to your site, and hence there would be an automatic increase in the CTR - not that you don't know! Just kinda reminding! We don't want all our work to go to waste, just because we ate up the cherry on top of the dessert, right? Don't be careless and get banned - this easily. Good luck!
Search "click popularity" and you will see that it may be a valid factor in Y!'s algos. I have read others who have tried this with similar results, but there are risks involved esp since your behaviour can be tracked via cookies etc. However, I'm not too sure if "click popularity" is still part of Y's algo (if in fact it ever was). I figure the best way is the clean way... make your website the best that it can be and keep working at it.
When i first started i was ranked in the 900 range , then after clicking the link into the yahoo search engine I was ranked in the top hundred in about a week. I stopped doing this because it is hard work. Its a good starter, all i'm saying.
Click popularity will affect the directory listings which is ordered by popularity. I don't see evidence of this in their regular SERPs.
i think theres far more to it than that. for starters yahoo would know that all the clicks came from the same IP address. Click thru rate is a determent in the Yahoo algo tho.
Your ad form? What exactly are you trying to say here kirby? ..Are you saying you searched for something in Yahoo and clicked on your own site in the natural search results? ...Or are you saying you searched for something in Yahoo and clicked on your own site in the sponsored search results? ...Or are you saying you visted a publisher's site in the YPN and clicked on a YPN ad for your site?
