Need some advice on how to make more from my sites...

I've got a PR 4 directory and have got google adsense on it, but I don't make much money off it, and don't sell a lot of featured links either. Is there a better way to make money than adsense on directories? The traffic is solid, but still - not much money.
    :)

Well, I don't think adsense is the best for a directory like that. The best option for a directory is to sell links. How much visitors are you getting per day?

You can also advertise some link related products as you're site probably attract a lot of webmasters.

If you have a lot of traffic, perhaps a CPM program would be appropriate.

your links look scary i would get rid of the china and replica sites they look like rip off sites to me and would scare me away from your directorie also i click on your catagories most say 7 links inside only to find there is no links or listings my advice get rid of the fake listings, replica sites and chinese domains and advertise in the bus section of craigslist and other places for true valid sites that won't rip people off

    sorry just my impression :-(

Why don't you sell a feature link?
You can make more money by selling ads space and feature listing

Thanks for your opinion, though the directory in my signature isn't the directory mentioned in the thread ;) Regarding the categories, it's the number of sub-categories within the main category :)

But I will take into consideration looking for replica sites and chinese domains.

A feature link is a link shown on the main page of the directory, often also with a little info. :)
