Are you scared of the Dentist?

When I was kid, I was highly scared of dentist, but now I dont have fear of them.

 

No I am not scared of the dentist but I do not go anymore due to my dentist is a complete screw up.

Screwed up my root canal, crowns, and everything in between.

 

never, my dentist is vey good in all the way

 

I have always hated looking up and seeing A Image like the pic below...the last dental work I had done was I had my Wisdom Teeth Taken out I was completely knocked out and my Mouth was numb for like 20 hours afterward...And also I got some Vicodin just for something to use for pain relief if it hurt

 

Yeah, I scare a little bit

No i am not afraid of dentists, however, root canal treatment does makes me feel pain

 

i'm not afraid on going to the dentist, but wat i am afraid of is when he takes out his creepy tools

 

I use to be, but have found a dentist who puts me at ease so no longer dread it.

 

In short, YES!

 

I don't get people. I know people who rather live with pain than seeing the dentist.

Same with doctors.

my dentist is a family friend and he's never hurt me, so no.

 

Yes, they have no mercy for my teeth..

and most look like robots

 

I just had a really abd experience with a new dentist I tried out. I am NOW scared of the dentist. I went in to get a filling cause one fell out. I was in pain but just wanted to get it done. My tooth hurts now everytime I bit and I cant drink anything cold. He says he didnt hit the root when he was drilling but I think he did.

 

Yeah, to an extent. Not for small operations though

 

I got spanked by my dentist when I was like 5 or 6? b/c I would not open my mouth (wide enough or at all). yeah, I'm pretty sure you could not do that today!

THE TRAUMA!!!

there are procedures that are much more painful than what a dentist can dish out though...how about the gum doctor, the periodontist...sure the actual procedure did not hurt but the recovery....OH! the recovery from a gum graft is 74 times worse than any cavity or crown or (never had a root canal so I can't speak for that).

 

Yes, they want to hurt you for your money!

God have mercy on the souls of those who need to have a root canal cleaning procedure done while conscious!

 

that was in the 1980's man!!

we have much better treatments now
