I'm also flirting with the idea of Squidoo, ok so it might not help your SEO rankings but in terms of general referral traffic, is this any good? Do you find a good amount of rerferral traffic or the purpose of squidoo just to help with serps?

I am not sure it will give you too much traffic the lens is not good. Also its not a bad idea to promote your lens too. I know ppl will say, why put your effort on a lens instead of writing for yourself but still you can try and test it.
