I am not the worlds foremost authority on link building, and just not enough time in my day to work at it anyway. SO, I used this service which was advertised on dp claiming to gain a lot of backlinks, up to 100,000. A few months afterwards I noticed my site was up to almost 20,000 links, but in the few months since the site has steadily fallen back down to around 2500.. What causes that?
You have to go in systematic way if too many links are back links to your site which affects your back links. Unfeigned Regards Letsnurture.co.cc
Ouch... that's way to fast, Im surprised Google didn't slap your site silly... or did they? I personally recommended aquiring backlinks at a rate of about 4-6 per day
Some of these link building sites are also just temporary sites or use temporary pages for your links. Here today, gone tomorrow. Better to build real organic links by talking to people, emailing them. I try to hunt for a phone number and call somebody as I am also guilty of ignoring requests by email
May i ask why do you recommend 4-6 backlinks per day, why not around 10-20 backlinks per day. Is there anything wrong with around 20 per day. i will be thankful if you answer. Thanks.
When you are building backlinks for a new site you should build them slowly, it's difficult to say how many you should build in one day because google does not provide this information for us but they say you should make your backlinks look natural.
The only way to quickly gain 100k backlinks or any other insane number like that is via link farms, which are quickly discredited or the link farms simply removed your links.
I've been involved in SEO for about 8 years now and I've experimented with and researched this Topic significantly 4-6 per day is what has worked very well for me and my Peers
I see sites losing backlinks all the time and I don't think it is just because they have too many links too fast. I lost some links to Google last April that had been in my backlinks for some time. Likewise with yahoo and msn. I think the links are being devalued, dropped off and recalculated depending on the algorhitm used by these sites. These back links fluctuate, often wildly.
In my opinion, you definitely added way too many links in a very short amount of time. Spread it out over a longer period to make it look more natural to the search engines...
Seriously you "can't get too many links too fast"... what type of links are they? if you got "1" link from 20,000 sites you likely find they will always be recorded... but if you have 1,000 from this, 500 from that, 200 here, another 1000 from another... technically that 4 links not 2,700. The quantity isn't that important. I've got about 110 that will do far more than those 20,000 [or the 100,000 they original promised.
I don't really trust the numbers reported on backlinks all that much. I use seocentro.com for checking my backlinks and this morning I compared my site to a competitors. this am I had approx. 4,000 more links they the other site. I just checked it this pm to show my wife the numbers and we are now 3,500 links less than the same site. These fluctuations are not all that unusual.
I would like to asked if gaining backlinks in forum can also helps in gaining page rank? I have some blogs which are new and I am planning to link build it again so I don't want to lost any backlinks so is it really important to note that we must build backlinks every 4-6 everyday? Is that include directory submission and link exchange?
