chitika pays better than adsense but its not an ideal contexual ad program as it doesn't deliver ad based on your content. You need to select a category based on which ads are displayed and they dont yet cover all the categories ouot there. several people have reported low CTR with chitika. but one good thing is you can use chitika with adsense. there are few other contextual ad networks you can pick form but if your nich is a good fit for any affiliate program and you have the traffic for it, thats the best way to go
