I have a website that is not so important but still has a PR5. It was launched 1 month before the last google PR update. I have a quality site with the same PR but i worked so hard for 3 years to get it. This seems to be unfair and i would rank it PR2 or something Here is the site, it is in Russian: Ðаращивание реÑниц
lol I think this is the first time I've seen someone asking about lowering their PR. I guess you must've gotten some good links faster for the site that got PR5 quickly.
This is a very strange thread... He either wants us to visit his site or it is the worst attempt possible from a competitor to lower the PR
Yeah, right... the competitor Well, i would like to say that i really feel that Google should better rank the sites that were worked hard for! I don't care about this site's PR, it just needs more traffic! The articles are all original, and instead of the visitors it gets high PR!!
I think this guy has started this thread to get attention. Checkout the line "Google, please lower my site's PR it doesn't deserve it" Isn't it strange. Checkout his pagerank if its not equal he specified we will report him
Sell some links and report yourself to Google http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-to-report-paid-links/
This is because toolbar rank means NOTHING. Actual PR means everything. My site had a toolbar PR6, then about 5 months ago a PR5, now a PR3 after the last update...yet my positions in the search results for targeted keywords have increased dramatically as my PR went down. Why? Because my actual PR is higher, so ignore the "little green bar".
Sure, please check it if its "equal"!!! As i mentioned before, i need traffic, not PR. The site is well optimized and with this high PR, the traffic is way too low!! It means that PR doesn't count at all!!!
Although I suppose if you're given a high PR without doing much work, it ruins the fun of working to increase it and being happy when you've reached that PR you wanted. That's the only thing I can think of.
The important question is: why this site has PR 5? If you find the answer, you can move your other site PR.
OK, i will rephrase it! Google, please lower my site's PR to PR2 and correct it for higher traffic and SEO positions as the site is useful for people, not webmasters. The only people who know about PR are webmasters!!!!
This is one of the funniest threads, I have never heard someone complain about their pr being too high before Well I hope google lowers the pr of your site before you have a fit
