I get some pr1 and pr3 ... no more pr2 , as it happens

Pr is a pointless and meaningless tool

i have several websites that are promoted and have dropped in Pr

i also have 2 websites i set up and have NEVER promoted or built links to and they went from 0 to a 3

That's a very bold statement. I'm sure PR was important once, certainly in the days when I dabbled in SEO (about 5 or 6 years ago)

 

I don`t now if is or no important the PR but i want to say that google make the rules.

 

PR is still important as right now you still cannot find another one to replace its seat,
and the SERP also depends on the PR.

 

In my opinion, PR is 0 for SEO and SERPS, but 10 for link quality (and have some more good hidden points, but for the moment i take in consideration only quality.)

 

PR is puzzling. One site that I did not promote went to PR3 from 0. The site I was actively linking to went down to 0 from 3. But sites with PR0 always rank no. 1 in SERPs for some keywords. For me, PR's irrelevant.

 

I went from Pr1 to 0 I don't care about it

 

i have PR4 but google send me poor traffic..2.5%

 

Just noticed my main page has dropped from a 5 to a 4.

As for serps depending on Pr i dont believe that for one minute

there are thousands of low pr websites out ranking high pr websites

i can get very good serps to a website without any pr

 

Actually, even though I'm not happy about the PR drop, my main keyword has jumped a couple of places, and to ne honest, I think anyone would trade a jump in the SERPS over PR?

PR is good for the ego, jump in SERPS translates as good for the wallet!

 

I don't think this is entirely true. I have a site that has been achieving the number one position in Google for its search term ( a highly competitive one ) for many years, and its always been a PR4.

Today, I noticed its now a PR5 yet its still in the Number 1 position. If PR was so important, than I should be appearing above the first position, as my PR is now higher than it has been for the past 3 years when it was still number 1.

Besides, whether a webmaster wants a high PR or high SERPs is ones own individual choice. I know which of the two I would prefer any day of the week.

My PR4 site with good link building drop from PR4 to PR2. Another site without doing anything increase from PR0 to PR3. It make me abit confuse now
