I use Yahoo 360 and as such cannot monetize. Perhaps I will switch to blogspot in the near future. My main website, however, generates enough $$$.
Well I feel special because I can boast more than spare change from my blog! Although many other bloggers make a lot more than me, but I'm happy with how I've done so far. I average around $500-$1000 USD per month across my two blogs, which have about 2000 - 3000 unique visitors per day between them. I make about $80 per month from AdSense About $200 from Text Link Ads Between $100 and $500 from advertisers And $100 and $500 from affiliate sales However my best month was over $2000 USD which was amazing, but not common. You need targeted traffic and to always provide value if you want to make money from blogging. On a per hour basis I'm paid pretty awfully for blogging, thankfully I love it so would do it anyway!
Hi, Right now I am making about $350/month with www.links.com by parking it at NameDrive. There are currently 700 unique visitors/day (probably no repeats). I am thinking about switching over to a blog with ads to try to increase my visitor count and revenue stream. Any advice on how to go about doing this would be appreciated. I will probably host it on Hostgator (though other recommendations would be appreciated), use WordPress (with one of the adsense ready themes), and probably the general "entertainment" theme, though I may have subdomains on other topics. Nothing yet. Then again, the blog has been alive for 12 days, has had 9 unique visitors in that time, and has 11 posts. Not enough time yet to make anything.
I've made $1.13 in the first three days I've had adsense ads on my site. I'm averaging about 30 visitors/day.
