    Hey,

    I am looking for a forum with more than 500 members in it to purchase.

    The forum needs to be:

    At least PR3
    At least 6 months old
    Have 500+ members (at least 75 should be active)


    The forum should either be:

    1) webmaster, hosting, programming, internet, PC, ecommerce, tech related
    2) movie related
    3) console related
    4) business related

    Whats your budget?
    Do you need a minimum amount of posts?
    Do you have an "active" member count in mind or is 500 signups enough?
    Does it matter what type (vBulletin, etc)?

    The 300+ Active knocks me out of the running. There will be some serious cash there for that active of a board.

    I would guess its in that range or maybe a bit below. It depends on your definition of course though. I usually think if a poster is at least posting 2 times a month they are "active". There are a lot of single posters and spurt posters (post 20 posts the week they sign up then nothing), just scroll through the members.

    Forums that have 300+ active look like this (scroll to the bottom):

    and that don't come cheap!

    well if I get an offer that's good enough I sell my forum but until then I keep it because it's generating serious cash.... it has almost 4000 members and at least 150 of them can be considered active. If you consider visiting and reading the forum very often "active" too it's at least 600-800 active members.

    Thanks :) well anyway, I am doing this website since 17th january 1997.... so it's quite a while (the forum isn't that old but the whole community it's part of is) and as I said if I should sell it, it must be a very decent offer
