I just sent a link to my friend (who is not into IM) and he said:
"Ok, the kid says he's on vacation all the time - but he is always in the States... if it was for real he'd have pics from Europe or Japan or something...
Then he shows a video of his parents' house... what's up with that?"

So I ask him. but what do you think of the rest of the page?

"Well, I didn't really read it, seems too long..."

... Man, I don't want to be harsh on you but this is what a regular person (not into IM) feels about your site... Perhaps a few more changes to the page will make it better...

Seriously, get rid of all the shitty photos and whip up some actual results. That's what sells stuff in this market - results.

Look at http://www.thelazymarketer.com - he's got the same message as you but doesnt' make half a shitty offer to us because actually creates the idea that the product will bring results.

And I have to say, I watched your video.. where you're talking about your 'property', the place seems like your mom's house. Seriously, It's not very convicing that you bought the property.

You need to put more details about what your program really is, it only says that it's gonna make you money, doesn't say how, and you only have listed information on how fabolous your life is.

 

agree with you, you should alway take the reader's wish in the first place. They need to know how to be rich... not just how about your life...

Just because you have some fake clickbank numbers up... doesn't mean that you provide results. Also... haven't you heard of PayDotCom ? Those numbers are real, Paypal VERIFIED !

Ripped - Moms house? ... Mom kicked me out when I was 18 and you don't even want me to go there because that is a whole nother story. The house is mine, and I workled hard as shit for that house. I'm not mad that you said that becuase I get that alot, so it's all good. But how do you expect me to prove that the house is mine ? Seriously...

Also, I you read the page. It's says how to make money online with your Hobbies or Knowledge ( or any topic you choose )... isn't that enough without giving away HOW ?... Please let me know as I am anxious to see what you say.

Well the site just doesn't give off a professional vibe.

The background, and the body background clash. Those grey bars are too bright. You should do a goldish gradient merging the body into the background like most 1 column pages do.

Also your head text needs to be spiced up, change the fonts to something that suits your design a little better.

 

The only way anybody would buy that is if they were a 10 yr ol'e kid who stole his moms credit card. Lol, and your look doesn't sell; let's leave it at that. You're not very eye pleasing.

 

I gotta admit that it is a lot better than your old site. If you think that it is good, then just drive traffic to it, a see how well it converts.. simple as that.. If it doesn't convert.... it means you need to change something

 

I don't think you "get" it.

Your copy sucks. End of.

Your offer isn't compelling.

What you present to your target market (us) is nothing we want to know about. You know - who cares if you bought a house or whatever. You could have done that dealing crack for all we know.

You've got to make your product out to be something that will have us STOP whatever we are doing just to look at your method / product.

Right now, it doesn't do that.

I would either take the movie of your house down or make it look more convincing that its your house. First thought that came to my mind was thats his parents house. Whether its true or not, if you have customers watching it and they think the same thing, they will NOT buy your product. If they think even one aspect of your site seems sketchy, they will bounce.

 

You need to add some information on how they will make money, one or tow from your own secrets would help your landing page. Decrease the number of images. Good Luck

 

It is not that bad. The issue is that the money making niche is filled with sales copy that are works of genius. Some publishers pay big money for a professional copy writer and still struggle. To do well you need lots of people to promote it via mailing lists. PPC is tough if not impossible with money making niche.

Trust me, when I wrote dailyprofiting.com I thought I was going to get rich with it. I am glad i wrote it and I have sold 100's of copies but without the affiliates with huge lists, it will never make me real money.

If you decide to continue on with your site, here are some pointers I would give you.

1. the video has to go. It doesn't fit. Vacation spots work much better or a really nice car. People have to want to see themselves there and I don't want to see myself at that house. (no offense, different taste). However, I do want to see myself at the beach.

2. The girlfriend is a good route to go. men buy more often when an attractive girl is somewhere on the page and she is most certainly attractive.

3. The pic of you flashing peace sign (or is that a gang symbol) doesnt work for me. Makes you look like a young punk versus a serious business man at 20. Plus you seem to be wearing the same shirt in both pictures.

4. I really do not like the grey bars along your page.

5. Here is the real issue with the page. Someone already said that they are not compelled to buy. I have to agree. Reading your page makes me either think it is 1. ebay or 2. write my own book. As an IMer, I need a secret. Something simple that I can apply to what I already know and am doing.

I really think that this would have to be targeted to people looking for ways to make money online but have not discovered affiliate marketing. Imers are going to click away.

***You can tweak the page and probably make a little money on this. It is a good experience to become a publisher and a lot of us try and do the money making thing first because that is what we know.

Man, look, why promote and push your product when is has so many flaws? if (Affiliates) are going to invest time and money we want to promote something that is worth it. Man we have so many options in this niche that are Waaaayyyy much better than yours (no offense) for example:

CommissionBlueprint
DominatingCB2
OneMonthAffiliate
...and many many others.

So' why promote it?

The only thing i liked from your site was the pic of your GF, hey man no offense here either, it's a compliment.

I think you're beating a dead horse mate.

I applaud your commitment to the project but no matter how much you spice it up and revamp or overhaul it - a few new pictures and graphics and bank statements are rarely going to revive an IM product. You probably will have better luck with a wso than you will re recruitment.

Domaniac said it well - we tend to make an IM product because we're good at it - but it doesn't mean it will sell well. I thought the same thing with my project wealthy product, and I delivered a hell of a lot with that package but no matter how bomb the graphics or media presentation are, IM products are truly make/break risks and you've taken a few stabs at it with what appear to be mediocre results so far.

I'd say forget the product and just focus on the money you're apparently making, with $200,000/year who needs some dinky cb product right?

You have all the elements figured out, and perhaps when you launch your second/third/fourth products, you should stay away from the IM market - not dissing you here just think that you would endorse a much better reaction from folks and from your core audience. This product is not going to make you tons of money (it might make you a few sales here and there though - just don't get demotivated when a few months go by and you're not another 6 figures richer.

Lastly - as much as it may suck to hear that people don't like your project - you should NEVER show a defensive like you are, people will rip it up and you should take it as help not just a bashing, at least you're the one trying - and one of these times you're going to get it right, however befriending and working with your fellow business man and showing positive spirits even when you're getting hit is important mate - damage control. Being a publisher is a lot more than just banking and expecting the world to accept and applaud everything we touch.

Good luck with it, and don't re-design it again if it flops, just move onto your next project.

So, I actually take my time to send it to a friend who is NOT an IM'er (that's your target audience, right?). My friend replies - and I let you know what an ordinary person thinks about your page. And this is your reply to that?

Unfortunately with this kind of attitude you will not get far. I posted probably the MOST helpful reply...

Anyways, you're the one that will waste time and not make any money with that attitude, not me. I will make sure I don't ever help you with anything, on that Good Luck.
