Russia has done this to many countries. After ww2 they claimed "war dammages" and forcibly recovered them in the form of raw materials such as graid/wood/everithing 10x over.

Ive heard 2 old men (independend of each other) say the same exact thing, in ww2 when the nazis came and overran the country their train-wagons smelled of perfume. When the russians came and overran the country their train wagons smelled of feces.

I have nothing against russian people, under communism they suffered a lot too. Also, any animosity if pointless after all this time. But history must be known and assumed. Else no progress will be made.

People seem to think that the US and Russia were some how allies pre-cold war, however it was more of choosing the lessor of two evils. Sadly what took 4 years for one, took some 45 years for the other.

Most ppl in Eastern Europe are trying to get into NATO for a reason. South Russian militias went on a drunken killing and looting spree in Georgia and most ppl are alarmed about it.

The US stood up to the Russians in Berlin during the Berlin Blockade. Are you saying that the US hated the Russians and were nazis because it opposed the Berlin Blockade?
