    I had braces for 3 years. You are getting them right about the right age. I got mine a little too young before all of my teeth came in. My teeth are not as straight as they used to be because my 12 year molars came in late and crammed some of my teeth. Luckily, I still have a lot better teeth now than I would have had I never had them.

    I had them for three years, starting when I was 12. You'll be really happy with your teeth once you get them off and wearing them now will probably save you lots of teeth problems in the future.
