Just wondering how long does a backlink get noticed usually. I mean as in if lets say I give this guy a backlink how long does it take for google to count it as a backlink or listed on a backlink checker.

There is probably going to be a variation on the time from site to site but approximately.

 

It depends on the quality of the site obviously. It might take 1-2 days as well as more than a week.

 

It depends on how often Google crawls that website. Websites with lots of links and frequently added content tend to get their sites crawled more often.

 

I noticed Yahoo crawled and displayed the results faster than Google nowadays, anyone share the same finding?

 

Yes, Yahoo is pretty fast on finding links. Not that fast on indexing sites though.

 

Are the added backlinks on a blog or a site. If its on a blog ping all the services might help get the backlink indexed faster.
