What is the best strategy for CPA Lead? CPA Lead discussion....

So I've been running CPA Lead on my blog for a day now and have had 16 clicks....0 conversions/leads. This is coming from a blog that gets an average of 500 pageviews per day. Not good. I need some sort of script randomizer where the Gateway comes up after a certain amount of time or certain number of visitors.

Anyway, I am wondering what CPA Lead strategies work the best. I've heard of people having success with TV Show sites, download sites, music sites, etc...do those seem to work well? And if so, what is the best way to get traffic to them? Or hell, what is the best way to create them?

I'm signing up with HostGator today and am going to get some sites going to see what I can do. Throw in your $.02.

Here is my 2 cents, a blog isn't the best place to use CPA Lead unless your offering something people are dying to see or read (whatever it may be), so by implementing the gate way you are just forcing your faithful users away since the content you have may not be worth going through all that hassle,I'm not trying to say you have garbage on your blog it's just something to think about as to why you might be experiencing such problems. as for the Tv show sites etc. it is working very well for those sites so conduct your tests and see what works best for you then just stick to it

100% correct - Unless the user is getting something they REALLY REALLY want to see e.g. the latest episode of Prison Break or the hottest new online game they are very unlikely to spend the time completing offers to see the content.

How would one go about making any one of those sites without having to invest a good amount of money and maintain good traffic to generate a decent income?

There are a lot of great out-of-the-box pre-made content site scripts out there, eBooks with reseller rights, etc. Just look on eBay. Your job is to advertise your website on message forums and other similar mediums that may find interest in your content.

For instance, if you had a collection of Self Help eBooks, you could help people on Yahoo Answers by giving them a free eBook to help them out. Such as someone asking a Dieting question, you offer them a free eBook that gives useful information on how to diet naturally and safely. Whether they fill out a survey to access your eBook is within your sales pitch. Not to mention other people who browse Yahoo Answer's questions will pick up on your answer as well and may try to fill out a survey to read your recommended free eBook. Just make sure the material is worth while so you can keep a good conscious.

This is just one idea out of many on how to start your own business using the CPALead Gateway with little money invested.

16 clicks is nothing, my friends. Not enough to make a judgement on the offer. All websites and sources of traffic are different. They have different geographics, demographics, etc. For example, dating offers would do well on a blog featuring hot chicks every day. They would probably do horrible on a blog about mortgages. You get the picture. Also, sometimes its more profitable for the website owner (publisher) to run CPM or CPC ad networks vs. running CPA offers. I say that, even though I run a CPA network - I have to tell you the truth about other options. So you must test, CPM, CPC and various CPA offers on your website's traffic. There's no magic bullet.

    Internet marketing is about TESTING.

True dat, tomorrow I'm making around 10-20 niche sites and seeing how the Gateway Tool performs on them. I think the key is to target the right demographic and offer them something of HIGH value.

I think most here will not share their ideas most especially if those ideas have been profitable to them, of course they wouldn't want another competitor.

So true....BUT, if we're in different niches it won't really matter that much to be honest.

    You've got you're strategy a bit off,
Don't try to build 5-6 small sites at ones.

Build one site, put some content in it based on keyword research so that you get organic, build some link, social bookmark it. Work on getting traffic on that site. Once you have enough traffic on that site, proceed to another site... rinse and repeat, and update all of the sites from time to time

    New technique for you guys---

Go in and disable all of the nonconverting offers. You already know if it's a CC offer, you can pretty much disable it....but that's all I am going to say. Narrow it DOWN.

    yep agreed.

I generally only have 3 offers running for main traffic (UK,US) the rest of them are deactivated. I learnt this after sending about 3k international traffic to that daft bingo offer with no conversions

I've been slowly eliminating surveys as well, hoping to narrow down to the best performing ones. I'm getting a lot of clicks, but only a small percentage convert leads, so it seems the visitor is abandoning the process partway through. I figure if I only show the shortest, easiest to complete surveys (even if they don't pay as much) my conversions should go up a fair amount. Anyone know which US surveys/offers are the quickest and easiest for the end user to complete?
