Im going to open a new image/file upload site! In order to market right and stuff i need traffic....what is the best way to get targeted traffic for this type of site???

Pretty much any forum is a good place, people are always looking for places to host images for it. I use imageshack.us for most of the images I posted here, for example.
Find a forum related to images and try posting on there with your link in your sig, You could do ppc advertising with google adwords
ahmm.. I gues you must know your prospects or target costumers first.. study on where you could find them maybe at social networks or wherever, then try to make a way that they will see your ads
You can promote it by using digg/stumble upon/adwords etc you can take the chance to allow adult image hosting coz it will bring you a lot of traffic
image upload sites eh? Artists and photographers are on the lookout for these. Find forums in this niche so you can hook in audiences to use your host. Avatar forum websites, along with social networking sites, also use these like crazy. Photobucket is highly popular. But if you can give shorter urls, then it might hook them.
I will say that try webmaster forum and give out some pro accounts for free too . By this you can get good users .
That is what I was thinking about. Allow adult image hosting - guarantee it will bring you a lot of traffic. Also, give something back to users. Like points that can be turned in cash or better membership(you get 10 point for 1000 visits, 1 point for every comment or something like that). People would like that and will have all the motives to stick with your site.
