Did the title of the thread get your attention? Good, I played the race card and got your attention (if you fell for it you probably watch Fox "News"). I could care less if Obama was black, white, yellow, or any other color of the rainbow. The fact is, he just might win the next election because of one single word "Change". Bush did such a disservice to the US and the Republican party that all you need to be is a young charismatic inexperienced senator and utter the word "Change". Am I off base here?
No, you're right on the money. If I remember correctly, Bill Clinton ran on a similar platform. Anyone remember "It's the economy stupid!" Bill rode that slogan all the way to the White House and look what happened. One of the strongest economies in our nation's history. I'm not saying Obama will be another Bill, however. In fact, I have some serious doubts about him but I doubt he could do worse than what we've seen in the last 8 years.

The problem with thread titles like this, and the media catch phrases that follow the same vein, is that your entire point gets passed over by most people and all you have really gotten across to most people is RACE RACE RACE!!! BLACK PRESIDENT ZOMG!@!!! Anyway, yeah all you have to do when the country is going to hell in a handbasket is instill confidence (hope) and tell everyone you will do it different (change). So yeah, basically that is all it takes.
