Starting a NEW SITE and DOCUMENTING MY SUCCESS!

Well, Havent updated the thread from a while.. sorry for that....there wasnt much to say..

Something good has happened today and hence im updating the thread.. I got around 10 visits from google.. now thats really encouraging. they r my first search engine visitors..

now.. heres what i have been up to.. well no i dint get a rewriter as i was thinking previously..

I was buzy creating content for my website and dint do any marketing.. I realised the content is appealing as i was able to get 700 unique hits on the second day of my website by promoting thru social bookmarking..

Now.. i have 17 published posts and got around 13 in the vault and need to have 10 more to do...

So here is the plan.. gonna publish 5 posts each day and create 2 posts.... and hence i should be able to complete everything in 5 days........

then organise it up and go hard out at promotion.

Your site looks great! Hope you're doing well with it. Just ignore the negative guy and delete the comment! It's not worth wasting your time and energy on those.

 

I like your site, I'm trying to keep track of my websites as well, I wish I was receiving the hits you did the first couple of days.

 

i see lots of work done there, and the results seem to be working, good for you, how did you get so much traffic on the first few days

 

oh to answer how i got so much traffic on the first few days..

well. I did nothing special.. I had posted around 5 posts on the site and had no idea how good or bad it was..

i decided the best way to decide was social bookmarking and i quickly realised reddit is a good source of traffic for informational stuff..

So thats the magic thing i did to get that traffic in the first few days. submit a few of my articles to reddit

ofcourse it wasn't really good coz social bookmarking visitors never stick unless the site really appeals to them.. Hence i stopped all forms of promotion and concentrated towards content creation..
and when i have my site ready, ill go hard out on promotion.. have plenty of ideas for that

ok . well

just to let u guyz know that the site jumped from PR0 to Pr2 which is really good..

Im still hoping im able to complete the site the next 5 days and then go all out at marketing

 

okay .. well. I have been working my ass off for the past couple of days and have managed to complete most of the site..

I have got 35 quality posts on my site! now thats great..

Ill probably need to do around 5 more for now..

The best part is im starting to get some search engine traffic!(Google who else!)

At the start.. it was around 3-5 per day but now im getting 15-20 per day which is really great..

now i really wanna hit the hundred mark which will also mean a bit of income..

Now my marketing procedure

Paid a guy for Press Release... its under work
Getting wordpress Seo done for my site... will be completed under 24 hours from now
taken a dir submission service with a slight twist.
taken a blog commenting service on do-follow blogs.

Im gonna also hire a link builder as well!
n ill probably apply for adsense tomorow

i havent got adsense there yet as i dint want to submit to them while in construction stages..

im probably gonna submit today and see how adsense works out...

sorry, haven't been updating you guyz coz i was buzy building the site..

Well, great thing, i have got around 40 live articles now and currently trying to spice up the homepage..

google is getting me around 30-40 unique vistors everyday which is great.. My first aim is to hit the 100 mark and take it from there..

And today was my first click as well. almost a dollar.. so thats really nice too.. i have a press release lined up for tomorw. so will let u guyz know how it goes.. will be posting the traffic stats too..

long long time since the last update..

well. its not that i have given up on the site.. but i just gave up on updating this thread....

worked really hard for the site.. and well.. its a pretty decent site now as u can see

receives around 400 unique hits each day with almost 300 from google itself..
makes me around $5-15 from adsense each day..
pr is currently 3 now

so.. well. just to let u all know. that this thread has been a success story
