Hi, when submitting, do you use a different title and description for each submission (i.e you always rotate them) or do you use the same title and description for a set number of submissions and then rotate them? if so how many, I know that they all get approved (if they even do) at different rates, but I'm just curious as to the method others use Also how many different titles and descriptions do you use? I know this will probably differ greatly, but in a very small niche there are only so many different ways you can describe something. Thanks for any info. Dee
I am a programmer and i have my own application build for such task, its not automated, i have to visit every dir and it fills and rotates all things exactly except captcha's.
I've always used multiple and do so with my service. It's better for SEO too - avoids duplicate content and helps rank for more terms.
Hi, sorry I should of explained in a bit more detail what I was asking If you have one particular keyword you want to target and you have 25 different descriptions, and you plan to submit to say 100 directories, how many times in a row would you use one description before changing it to the next one and so on? Does that make sense? Dee
i've got about 3-4 titles for each site. Despite the different titles, i try to keep the description pretty much the same (some words or a sentence change)
Would use the same description for quite a few, but lots of different titles, and keep creating more new titles, for some sites its easier.
Thanks for that, that's really helpful. I do keep changing my Title, however this is more because it's best to do so as opposed to needing to for SE purposes, as there really are only 2 or 3 keywords I need to target. As I said it's a very small niche. Thanks Again Dee
I use same title and put the most important keywords into it. If you use multiple titles, it will dilute the seo of your links.
Hi, thanks guys "If you use multiple titles, it will dilute the seo of your links" Can I ask why you say that, I ask because it doesn't seem to be the general opinion. Thanks Dee
Means if you tartget 2k submissions with 1 title then you have possibility of getting all approved links under same title. But when you use for say 5 or 10 or whatever titles and plan 2k submissions then your submission count gets divided by title count. Means you get links according to various titles, not single title.
I use about 4, 5 titles and descriptions - its good to use even more when you do a hard link building every day. You are safer, and smaller chance that google see's you as a spam, + you rank for more keywords.
Hi, well when it comes to titles and descriptions I have plenty of them I just need to rank better for one keyword, so want to focus more on that one. Dee
