Check this out! My Website and article, here His coppied information here. how did he even steal my comments?
Hmm... Something fishy there. Stealing content is a big no no. I guess he could have copy and pasted your comments and put them in himself? Why not leave a comment on his site confronting the issue, contact him directly, or report to ISP?
Hey this is another question I have! Who can I report him too? I have left a message in the blog article! Look at my url I only have 1 c in success (OOPS) think this is why Google missed it?
That could be... You're obviously not going to get anywhere reporting him to any local authorities.... Finding out his web host / ISP and notifying them of it won't accomplish much either, but if I were the web host, if I kept getting emails that one of my clients was stealing content I might send him a warning myself, and possibly suspend the account if the matter was not resolved... I wouldn't want people knowing I host websites of people who go around stealing content... Other ideas people?
I found this information here, http://whois.domaintools.com/semlabs.co.uk His host is overseas? How do I do that?
Look to be honest theres not alot you can do as its not really a copyright issue.. and if anyone looks at his comments you will see they all magically appeared on the same day at the same time.. kind of suspicious.. how did you find this site in the first place...
While there isn't much you can do about it, keeping on top of your writing is important if you value your works. It's like building a reputation for sales. You build a reputation that you provide a better service than most others, you get lots of sales... You build a reputation that you don't take well to people ripping off your works, then the chances are lower that somebody will pick you to copy from. Also, sometimes, 'e-criminals' or whatever you want to call them, are getting away with everything they do, because nobody speaks up or does something about it. If that person later gets in deeper, if nothing's been done in the past, there's no trail (or rap sheet so to speak). You never know, maybe this same person is ripping stuff off all over the place, if he gets away with it once, why not?
I'm unsure why everyone thinks that you can't do anything. You own the copyright to your blog post and you have every right to file a DMCA notice with his host and have him shut down. I would do it immediately. I would also contact Google and have him delisted (and any AdSense account suspended if he's running it on the site (which I didn't see, but doesn't mean that it's not there)). Let me know if you have other questions.
