Barack Hussein Obama is perhaps the biggest threat against the United States Of America in the history of our country. I truly cannot understand why rational people support this stooge. Without teleprompters he is an idiot.
About half the US feels this way. The other half is for him. The election will have the losing side and supporters weeping.
Ok are you guys TRYING to look like you don't know what you're talking about? Do you even watch their speeches and press conferences? Do me (and apparently yourself) a favor.... Go on youtube and look at some of thier press conferences. Look at how much McCain reads from his notes and how much Obama speaks off the top. The difference is so obvious that even you couldn't miss it...... They both start off reading from their notes and by the end Obama is expanding upon his points to better explain them and taking questions. The truth..... McCain rarely sticks around for press grillings after he delivers his talking points. Obama almost always does. The fact that you don't know that should be a big red beacon letting people know to not take anything you say seriously.
Wow. Out of politeness I WON'T post the Obama blunders,. Listen, I am only here to express what I see as the plain truth: Obama should NOT be our President.
Blunders? LOL, how about all of GWB's 'blunders' Plain truth backed up by no facts, gotta love that rationale.
wow ye of 12,000 (rounding) posts says HI. Listen, I will post youtube vides of the Obama idiot any time you want but that was not my intention...
lol yeah I don't even have to go to youtube... Anyone who saw the announcements yesterday, let me ask you. Did you notice how McCain came out, said whate he wanted to say and left with no questions (as usual)? Barack came out, read his prepared statement from cue cards, then went on to answer questions from the press. I mean... saying something over and over again doesn't make it true. When will Republican tacticians learn that? McCain's campaign even put out a memo of talking points to his campaign surrogates so they would know the proper way to talk about McCain not talking about politics over the next few days.
Who is posting youtube 'vides' of Obama? As I am the only one with near that amount of posts 'in this thread' I would assume you must be speaking of me. So no facts to bring to the table I see.
What are you talking about? Look at the polls dude. Its right at fifty/fifty give or take a few % points. "About half the US feels this way. The other half is for him. The election will have the losing side and supporters weeping. "
Not gonna debate the pros and cons of the candidates in yet another thread, just gonna suggest that if you do a Google search on the words President and effigy... it becomes evident that whoever takes the job might wanna get used to seeing their effigy hung, burned, spit on, etc. Has gone with the territory too damned long, but it seems the norm. Even in the US burning and hanging in effigy hasnt been uncommon... I recall a nice fella named Pearcy who was "anti-war" making the news hanging an effigy of an American soldier with a noose from his house... and it was labeled an exercise of free speech. Hanging is ok with some liberals, provided you get the target right. Kudos to the reporter for taking an act performed in one of the most liberal states in the US and located in the north as a chance the slam all those narrow minded folks in the south. Pretty slick transference of guilt away from the real source there. Gotta love those unbiased reporters.
It is a racial move, for sure. But I seriously doubt the person who did it did it as anything more than a joke. Although, a bad one.
Grim - It's kinda hard to make a cogent argument that says hanging all other Presidents in effigy is free speech and hanging Obama in effigy is just symbolic racism. I've seen every President in my lifetime burned of hung in effigy on the news... so like I said, it doesnt suddenly change the situation just because the candidate has a different racial heritage. I'm not defending the action, hanging ANYone in effigy is an act of ignorance and hate... I'm just saying the double standard is horse-shit. Considering hanging a presidential candidate in effigy a hate crime while hanging an effigy of the very guys that protect free speech is considered "free speech" requires some serious mental gymnastics.
again... not defending the action... condemning the double standard. I consider hanging ANYONE in effigy an act of hate. I cant say hanging an American soldier in effigy is less hateful than hanging anyone else, yet it was supposedly "protected free speech". It depends on who is targeted with hate... and the verdict is apparently targeting those that protect free speech is just fine and dandy.
