Thousands of backlinks from a forum, can effect on PageRank?
it can send a lot of visitors to our site,
but what happened with google, when google find Thousands of links in 1 day for our site?

 

Hey mrmax Google might not like it and just not value them

 

so google dont count any link from forum like signature ?

 

well what i read from google instructions they courage users to send there site to directories and post some valuable comments on popular forums with contents same to your own website.
in my view signatures do count some what in google page rank....

 

Google will count each and every backlink of forum but they take into consideration of popular forum signature, if google not count then why millions of people will commenting in forums.

so this will surely help you, just keep posting.

 

I don't post in forums for backlinks. For me it's added traffic while contributing and being part of a community.

 

The backlinks in a forum can help. I wouldn't recommend getting too many all at once though. As giorgioarmani mentioned, Google may devalue them because they seem like spam if they are acquired too quickly.

If the forum is related to your links, you can also get good traffic like SearchBliss mentioned.

It might not improve your actual PR much though. Almost all of the links would be PR0 which send very little PR juice. That doesn't mean they don't help getting search engine rankings though.

I have read before that thousand of backlinks might cause problems with your site if its done in one day only. So I think it is necessary to atleast do it one at a time. Place links one at a time although there is really no clear rules about this issue.

Probably no search engine will index thousand web pages from one site in just one day. Backlinks will not hurt you but the overall gain might not be as big as expected. Backlink is as good as content where it is placed.

and google always refresh the pages to find new contents, and will index this new links.

Correct. But the cache is still intact as far as I know. So, it would mean that the old links and the new links would overlap for some time before G updates their cache in each DC.

 

For example, if you by a signature link from a forum member with more than a 1000 posts.
My opinion is that this does not help much, but it doesn't hurt also.
It will maybe help if you get few baklinks from forums per day, but not all at once.

The worst that can happen is that Google will ignore all those links. I think a site can not get penalized for getting too many backlinks in short period of time, as if google used to penalize sites for getting too many backlinks [quickly], then people will start to do all this for their competitors in order to get them penalized. The worst that can happen is that google will ignore such links, that is, you will get no credit for those links.

 

It does help a lot especially if it's on a dofollow high traffic forum related to your niche. I wouldn't worry about getting penalized because eventually, the new links that appear in the signature has to slowly crawl and added to google index. So it will take some time and thus the amount will increase gradually.
