    Hi friends,

I thank to all of you to read my thread and the replies are greatly appreciated.

    Here the question is:

As everybody know Google data centers gives different search results, BUT

why the webmaster tools results will not even comparable in some cases?????

The results are entirely different, by applying the location. For ex. I am working on a US project, the results in INDIA google.com, co.in, yahoo everywhere it is very good. And the result in webmaster tools also, showing approximate result. But coming to the US result, why the webmaster tools is not accurate???????

Is webmaster tools gives false results?????
And is there anybody getting the accurate (negotiable up to 10 positions )?????

If you have any queries in my Question, feel free to post....

    Regards,
    Karunakar.

    Thanks,

But, are you checked the results in webmaster tools???
Because, there we can see every week result. Then how can say webmaster tools needs update????

Time takes only for update different datacenters, not for Webmaster tools and It provides updated results only.

    Regards,
    Karunakar.

    Yes dear, you are right.

Any tools can not provide the 100% accurate results.

But I am not asking the accurate results, asking just approximate results.
Webmaster tools results are not even comparative in some cases.

    R u ever observed?????

    Regards,
    Karunakar.

Maybe your site is very new. Then it is difficult to get accurate results because the SERPs are not very stable.

For me, my SERPS displayed in Webmaster isn't accurate at all.

It says, I am in position 7 or 8 for some keywords(which has over 100,000 searches per month), but I have never got any clicks from it. I have never seen my website on page1 either.

No dear, my site is very old. And

Google gives the results for all domains (even for blogs), after 1 week from the installation of the meta tag/html page.

    You are wrong.

Yes, you are right. You are cached my point, Webmaster tools is some times giving fake results even the site is not in the SERP.

    Yes i did ;)

However in the past I had few results that might not be accurate at all !!

I was seeing one of my clients websites ranking #3 in the WMT, actually for one of competitive keywords I was optimizing that website for... and it was a newly launched website..

Well, first i was miss leaded and shocked.. what is the reason?
Google DC's, etc... and none make sense I was no where to be seen!!!

After that a simple search in Google Image Search.. and my site shows up #2 in the SERP's of the Images search for that particular keyword :D

My advice, consider doing your searches for non accurate WMT results using those keywords in Google Images, Videos, News etc...

If it's in the Google Webmaster Tools, then it should be their.
