How fast is article submission, for producing traffic?

If you distribute articles to directories (say 1 article to 20 directories) Does this take time to build regular traffic to your resource link/site?

like SEO methods can take months for your pages to rank high for your keyword phrases, but if you submit the articles, is consistant traffic pretty fast?

(i know it depends on the niche, and you will get different visits/clicks a day- but just generally asking whether article traffic is quick -days/weeks, or takes time - months like SEO marketing)

    Hi Eyes2005,:)

I intend to be short and vital. Article marketing is a very effective way to get long term traffic to your site on budget, if you make it well.

To your first question: Yes, it'll take some time to see result, depending on your niche and keywords, the quality of your articles, the workload of directories, their approving procedure, etc. If everything is going well you can see some result in 1-2 weeks.

Besides I have to say that article marketing is slower than the PPC, which gives result overnight. The big benefit of article marketing is that it will bring for you traffic in the future years. Another benefit is the high quality backlink what you get by directories.

Naturally it claims work, you need to write continuously and submit articles every day. But if you hate the writing you can outsource it.

Here are several directories which have high page ranks (PR 6 - 7) so you can get quality backlinks:

    - ezinearticles.com
    - articlesfactory.com
    - articles-hub.com
    - findarticles.com
    - searchguild.com
    - theallineed.com
    - webpronews.com
    - goarticles.com
    - isnare.com
    - ezineplug.com
    - articlebiz.com
    - articlecity.com
    - search4rss.com
    - powerhomebiz.com
    - articledashboard.com

To your second question: Yes, to getting traffic you need to make some SEO. Naturally this is slower than the well worked article marketing. If you compare the article marketing, the SEO and the PPC (short term traffic), then fasters is PPC, second article marketing, third SEO.

Btw the effect of SEO may be change depending on the change of policy of the search engines. So it is necessary to adapt to the changes.

    So what can I suggest?

Apply as much traffic getting methods as you can handle.:)

    Hope it helps,

    Sandor
