Do you think Googling for answers makes you dumber?

    I also wrote a blog about it for those interested (check my sig)

    anyway, I was listening to the radio today after work and they were talking about if Googling for answers on the net makes one dumber or not.

    What do you guys think?

    I think its the opposite because there are more information available within reach!

    Absolutely not. What makes people dumber is when they ask a question on a forum (or Yahoo Answers etc) instead of Googling it, and then expect other people to do the research for them.

    my thought exactly :) sometimes i can even learn something by googling the answer FOR them.

    totally agree ... people should google first .

    on the other hand , if people didn't ask and others answered them , you wont find answers when you google ;) .
