Hi Guys, I'm thinking of getting some youtube videos done to promote one of my website. What I need is pretty simple stuff that a teenager with a webcam could do in less than 10 minutes. How much do you usually spend on that? Cheers, JB
Sorry, I don't quite get what you're asking. Are you trying to find out the cost of a 10 minute video made by a teenager? What sort of topic is it on: will it require much effort, or just sitting there reading a script??
I produce videos for the internet. I am 19.... I could make a video for you if I like the subject and if the price is right. Contact me with the info.
Running a contest to make a video? I remember there was one a while ago, but no one entered. The problem with a contest is that it takes quite a lot of time to make a video and people don't want to run the risk of losing. Although there aren't that many teenagers who enter in contests around here anyway... Where would you post it?
I was thinking of doing something like that: - Put a funny video of yourself making an excuse on youtube with a link to my site - Post the link in the contest thread - All the posters get $2 per video - The one who post the most funny video get $50 What do you think?
It really depends what look you're going for: if you want a professional video that is likely to get the more sophisticated viewers to your website, then you should get a video from a pro, but if your target audience is teenagers then you might want the amateur look to be able to relate to them
