What are all might be the reasons that can result in dramatic upset of the favorite in current election?
Since they are virtually tied there will be no dramatic upset of the favorite. Did this really need its own new thread? Also, it seems like you have gone on a little posting spree today - any particular reason?
Some type of smoking gun. Like say Palin was cheating on her husband with a State Trooper or something stupid. Or lets say that it is found out that Obama has ties to several of the top brass at Fannie and Freddie that brought the house of usher falling down. Er.. Nah, I'm thinking most people have their minds pretty much made up at this time. At this point, even when reality trumps the smoking gun and it does not sway a voters opinion, I doubt the smoking gun will. I think the only thing that could really change the election and cause a dramatic upset is if the true birth certificate of Barrack Obama is actually released and reveals something other than what the current fake one on his website indicates.
I agree with Mia, we're far enough into this by now that most peoples decisions won't be persuaded. Those that are still undecided are probably the ones that won't be going out to vote anyhow would be my speculation. Most people have specific areas that they are focused on and Obama and McCain are so different in a wide variety of areas that you should be able to identify with one or the other already.
