    Hello...

I got a man via my website, who wanted me to make a website for him and we dealt for 700$. He paid the 350$ and i started working...
Before working,i had agreed, If he is not satisfied with the site, then i will give him a complete refund..

Now after the design is ready and i showed him,he agreed to it and was happy.
he also confirmed me to start working on that layout...

Now after 4 hrs ,he came online and said me,he is unable to view the images of the template in his Firefox of 800x600 PC..
I asked him to send the screeshot of the error, what he is seeing in his browser, but he he had no idea how to take a screenshot..

Then as per humanity,i also sent him Screenshot Software.
Now he said me,he cant use the software..

I asked him,if he had WINZIP to open the zipped pack of the software..
He also had no idea of WINZIP..
    WTF....

I also sent him a link to download WINZIP...

Now then, when i asked him to install the screesshot software and send the screeshot of the site,he said me, "IM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SITE AND SEND ME THE REFUND.."

    WTF, i was stunned...

He dont have any knowledge of Computers or Clearing cache in Firefox and he started accusing me and my business...

I dint give him the refund...

Now he has filed a chargeback with his credit card company and the 350$ has been taken out from my account...

    Why the hell???

Im right at all my places and why should i be charged ???

    I need your all suggestions..
    Thanks..

You shouldn't have agreed to give a complete refund. You have to reserve at least 10% for the design.

In your situation, I'd give the guy full refund and forget about it. It's not worth the hassle.

    But why such vague reasons???
I also sent him a screeshot from my 800x600 res PC ,but he is not ready to check the screenshot also..
And he is also not ready to send the screenshot from his own PC..
He has no idea abt COMPUTERS and he thinks im doing it wrong..
Im not at all wrong and so i wont give up..
I have good reasons to fight...

You have no reason, he can say for any reason he is not satisfied. It does not matter his knowledge or lack there of on computers. The problem is YOUR understanding the agreement you agreed to is coming back to bite you in the ass.

BTW who uses 800x600 anymore? Especially to design?

its painful to see your money go away after spending time and energy on a project.... but there is not much you can do against a chargeback.... so next time you do this kind of work, make sure your customer knows how to take a screen shot of how to install winzip etc.etc....:D btw to take a screen shot one dont need a special software as it can be done just be pressing the Print Screen Button on the keyboard and then ctrl+V on any photo editing software or Paintbrush.... but i am little bit confused.... if your customer dont have any computer skills or knowledge then why would he order a website in the first place??? isn't that strange?? but if a person who want to get his website then i am sure he have good knowledge about computers or else he wouldn't dare to get a website...

Very Sad to say, but your "Scammed".
Accept it and Move on with Life.
    Lesson Learned!!
Make your Own TOS, and next time dealing with such Mofos, make them accepting your terms.
So at least you'll have legal proof.
