If you're using the sidebar for widgets you can add a text widget to the sidebar and paste the google adsense code into the text widget. I'm doing that with VoltWeblog.com
have a look Adsense manager vs adsense deluxe http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/adsense-manager-vs-adsense-deluxe
You can't. All of you posting here are wrong. Read the Wordpress TOS. It clearly states that you cannot put Afs on it unless you have your own domain and you upload the Wordpress layout. Bottom line is, use Blogger. Check out my blogs in my signature and see how easy it is to put up Adsense Ads on Blogger.
You need to clarify if you have a self-hosted Word press blog or you are using WordPress.com. If it is the Wordpress.com one, you can not add your own ads like Adsense. If it is self-hosted, you can do it as explained above. Either add a plug-in, I use Adsense Manager, or you can add it through widgets. To do it through widgets, goto design in your Admin panel of your blog. Then go to design and widgets and hit add text and move it where you want it on the side panel. Then hit the edit on the text you added and place you code and save. It takes a few minutes for a new code to update.
you can even add it through widget on a regular wordpress forum. I really dont like blogger since you cant seperate by pages, like one post per page. like me wordpress site
i've got a few different blogs and use adsense deluxe. Great plugin.. couldn't ever figure out adsense manager out...
I assume you host WP on your webhost. I love Adsense Manager for some reason. It's easy to manage. http://www.mutube.com/mu/getting-started-with-adsense-manager-3x/
Few best places u can try is in sidebar, intext , belowe header .. just add the adsense code and you will get all.
You can add ads (javascripts, precisely) only in self hosted Wordpress Blogs.. You can check for some plugins here.
