Blogger has my domain held hostage...I need to transfer it!

I created a Blogger blog a year ago and decided to buy a custom domain from Blogger at the time I signed up. Now, i want to transfer that domain name into my main GoDaddy account that has all of my other domain names...but....I don't know where to go to get the authorization code for my current domain to complete the transfer. Google/Blogger doesn't give you any access to the domain names you purchase from them, or at least I can't find it if they do. Does anyone know where I can go to get my auth code so I can go back into my GoDaddy account and complete the transfer? Thanks.

Have you tried to ask Blogger? I never tried use blogger to purchase I though you could buy a domain at other registrar like Godaddy and Name and then use it on your Blogger account?

Blogger holding your domain name hostage?

Anyway, I agree with wuss to ask Blogger first. Then if that fails:

Thanks for the tips...I found where I can get into my domain and change DNS info, etc., but they don't give you anywhere to get the authorization code for a transfer. I know they do this shit on purpose to make it as difficult as possible for people to move domains elsewhere..and it pisses me off. I emailed them and let them know that they need to change this and to give me my damn auth code. We'll see what happens.

Ok, I see it, you could have deleted the nav bar. see this blogger guide
Also this is another case similar to you this thread. See if the OP can help out.
Also see if this blogger group can help you out.
Last option would be to use Yahoo Answer :p

I emailed GoogleClients[@]enom.com, told them what I was trying to do. They confirmed my domain name and Google dns dashboard password and I was emailed the auth code. Now I'm waiting for Google to press the button that will finalize the transfer. They said it could take 5 days for that to happen. Word to the wise, don't buy your domain name through Google...it's just a huge pain in the ass.

Thanks for those blogger links. Actually I'm migrating that domain over to a Wordpress blog, the whole reason I'm trying to get control of the domain name. It should have a new look here in a week or two. Cheers.
