All Search Engines case sensitive ?

Can you tell me? All search engines are case sensitive or not

From my experience I have found them to not be case sensitive. It would be pretty easy to test though. Just search for some of your keywords using upper or lower case. See if you get the same results or not.

 

when I search at Google List Building then competition is 35,400,000, when I search list building then competition is 35,500,000, there is 100,000 difference. what you say about it

 

Yea that's true if i search for my domain name as Techknowl.com and techknowl.com there's a difference!!

 

No they are not (atleast till now) though there are exceptions for some keyphrases as well as acronyms but modern search engines are smart enough to understand this.

SE's like google, yahoo and msn are not case sensitive for sure. but there are some SE's which is case sensitive

Nopes, most of the major search engines are free text search engines.

And you can not feel difference with cases.

 

You can type it the initial cap and it will be read the same as lowercase by the search engines.

I dont't think major search engines like Yahoo and Google are case sensitive.This is because users dont normally mean different meanings when they use different cases. So search engines have no reason to see it differently.

 

when you type Drive Wipe at Google for both small and capital you will found different results in top 10 results. it means Google is case sensitive...
