Hello All, I need a little creative help today. My girlfriend absolutely adores kittens. Nothing makes her as happy as taking care of kittens. With so much passion involved, I told her that she should try to find a way to run a business/website around kittens. My question to you guy is: what are some ways of generating income around the love of kittens. Thanks in advance, Joe
Create a youtube account, sign up for a youtube partner account, link it with your google adsense account. Make videos about kittens, post them on youtube and enable revenue sharing on the videos. The video hosting site revver also has revenue sharing - http://www.revver.com/ You can post the same video on both sites and make money off of it. You will get more traffic off of youtube, but revver helps you push your videos to other sites. If you already have a video camera, and windows XP or vista you have everything you need. Just use windows movie maker to edit the video. The total cost to you will be $0.
Who wouldn't want to make some money off some cute kittens. You could charge people to hug them I think someone set up a site way back and threatened to do something to the kittens if they didn't get enough donations. How about a spoof send me money or the box of cute kittens gets it site. (Before anyone starts I am being sarcastic, I do not condone any activity that makes money off cute fluffy kittens no matter how cute and fluffy they are)
how about making a website fluffywuffykittens.com (domain is available as of today's date) put up some content, photos of your kittens and adsense banners/links etc. then the most important part, advertise the site, this is easy bit as you already have the marketing tools, your kittens. 1st step it to shave them bold, then tattoo the web address to the kittens, then release them into your neighbourhood to do the advertising for you. the more kittens you have the faster the word will spread about your new website. easy money ======== please note i am only joking, under no circumstances should you shave your kittens bold.
This is a really good idea. Make a spoof comedy site about torturing kittens. Ask for donations to stop being mean to the kittens. Do something like "instead of feeding these kittens dry cat food, we are going to give the kittens tuna fish. Can you imagine the horror the kittens will face if they have to eat "tuna fish?" Then the kittens love the tuna, and the guy starts saying, "stop it, your not supposed to like the tuna, stop eating that stuff. How am I supposed to bribe someone if you like the tuna?" Everything the kidnappers try turns against them, such as a water gun filled with milk and the kitten starts licking the tip of the gun. What are you doing, stop licking the gun. Make some videos showing the "torture of the kittens." Watch the "ask a ninja" channel on youtube for examples on how to make a parody humor channel. Can you imagine the horror if we give this kitten milk, instead of water? Oh the horror of it all!!!! lolol

It may have been done but what about a hot or not type site for kittens? People can submit their pics and vote on others... People get weird about their animals. They love to show them off. You could then run adsense and affililate links to pet supply companies, etc.
That's an awesome kind of shoe horn ^^ It's similar to one my dad has... on other terms, why not make a kitten diary? Turn it into a blog with youtube vids, and even a webcam in a members area?
This has to be the first time I've posted a picture of bonsai kitten ever and the response has been "aww how cute" lol. Most people are mortified about jamming a kitten into a jar...you folks are twisted!

Further you can start a shopping area in the website where you can provide platform for kitten sales. Hope these ideas will help you to build a website. There are a few of these type of sites - vote for the cutest kitten. In fact there are SO many kittens on the net - the challenge is to find a really new angle - I'd swear there's more kittens than porn. ...hold on....kitten porn....no, no it would never work....although pics of hot guys and girls and their kittens... remember that Athena poster of the guy cuddling a baby? - HUGE hit - girls love that sort of thing* - Get lots of hot guys showing their sensitive side with their kittens... (*p.s. I am a girl so I know how daft we are)
Yeah, I figured. Like I said, people are weird about their animals so I'd think that it's a VERY popular niche.
You could break out a few lolcatz phrases on a few cute cat pictures and watch as they become viral (well if you promote them properly)
You could sell kittens on a global scale too! The postage price is quite cheap when you can stuff one in a postpak (padded of course!)
