High bid, Little Competition - Still no Impressions?

    Hi,

This one has me puzzled. Seems to have occured around the time of the changes to displaying Quality Scores.

    Scenario is this:

    1. I have a long standing keyword. Let's call it Logistics Stuff.
    2. The Ads have always appeared quite high, even though there is some competition.
    3. I have bid quite high to keep them there.
    4. Quality scores have been quite good. Still are. 7/10.
    5. Position preferences are 1-9
Now the ads don't even appear. There are three competitors ads, and that's it. Even though I have postion preferences 1-9, and there are only 3 ads appearing, mine are not.

    Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem... maybe it has something to do with the new quality score formula.. I get 10/10 on worst ads EVER sometimes, but no traffic

Sounds like an Adwords Algorithm change.

Have you tried tweaking the ads a little or using a different landing page as an experiment.

I often do this am often able to get the ads working well again.

The best thing to do about this is to ask help from google and find some people who has the same problem with this.

Ok. Here are few questions. Do answer me, I will come back to you with suggestions.

    1. What is the daily budget that you have decided for the campaign?
    2. Does these AdText are newly added or let me know the status of the ads.
    3. Are you using conversion tracking and if yes please check if that is working fine.

The simplest way to solve is to get to an adwords live chat, but again it is not the best option. Always try to solve the issue at your end and then move ahead.

    Do answer the above questions.

you may have to wait a little while before the ads get "full distribution"

Very True.. It will definitely take a while before the "All Traffic Flood Gates" are opened!

The reason for asking the question is to get more info about the current setup. It's up to you to let me know those info.
