[Help Need] Black screens for pirate copies of Windows

So wait, you've got the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and now a black screen of ?

 

may be, i was not getting any windows. because i have activated my personal copy. But the case is one of my friend don't like to use a genuine copy. he is using a pirated copy and cracked it. I told about this letter.
He doesn't care it.

 

I had this "friend" one time, he either had a crappy cracked copy or HW issues b/c he got BSOD's often.

did XP drop in price when Vista came out?

 

I have 2 genuine copies of XP and still there was a mail from Microsoft that I am using pirated.
Sheer stupidity.
