Are you observing , Adsense CPC is decreasing rapidly

I am observing it since two months, Adsense CPC's are getting lower and lower. And I am observing it in almost all the niches.

Today one of my sites earned only 31 cents from 22 clicks. Although this is not in a high paying niche but last year I was getting about 15 cents per click from this site.

    hi,

you are lucky that you get 31 cents for 22 clicks, i get below 1c for one click from the Google.

I gets over 3000~6000 Clicks a day. i got CTR of 60%, i am using google From last 3 years. it is like i am earning the same. about 1 year back my CTR was 5% and said WOW!. but using tacts, techniques optimization i took the CTR to 60% which is dream come true. but increasing CTR took my CPC way way way way down. i am geting 1 cent for 3~6 clicks.

    This is really bad

Wow.. that make me really sad. To know that Adsense is giving so little. But that must be because most of the advertisers are a little worried for problems with click conversion rate.

Remember, niche does matter, but the country of your traffic also does...International traffic (outside USA,UK,Canada,Aus,New Zealand) pays much less than the countries i just mentioned.

my adsense earnings been dropping and click also dropping .

i used to make over $100 (with firefox referral) but now i hit around $10 to $30 per day.

btw i start using cpm network , the current one on my signature pay quite well and pay weekly on time.
i hope it can cover the loss of firefox referral.

There is this little phenomenon called "The Economy"... where do you think those payments come from? Advertisers. And if campaigns are not performing they will make adjustments.

Look around. Times are a changin!

22 clicks for 31cents? WOW that is the worst I have ever seen!! Have you tried affiliate advertising? I dont think you could do much worse. In 1 year if you make 1 sale you will earn more...lol, not much but still more.
    Have you tried other alternatives?

People are cutting back their Adwords usage. It's the global credit crunch and it's only going to get worse.

One of my websites was getting close to 1,000 clicks per day but have now went to all CPM and direct other than an end of article text link. I have an entertainment niche which gets anywhere from 1-3 cents a click. It is not worth it to send visitors out of the website for that.

Adsense has always been pititful in the niche I am in. I once got 3 clicks for 1 cent, talk about waste of time. I get more money from Amazon, and am seriously considering removing Adsense entirely. It might be great for people with 40k+ uniques per day though.

My Adsense earnings have dropped 4 months in a row. Amount per click down 40% from May. The world economy is on the decline and things will be this way for a long time. The best days of Adsense are long gone. There will always be a few that make it big, but 90% of publishers will only make a few bucks a day or less.

Well I can't compare to results in the past since i am doing adsense for now it a little under than two months. But i am happy of what I have got so far. I have 4 sites and 2 blogs and the joke blog and joke websites seems to be the best. Yesterday on my joke website i got a 59 cent click and the joke blogs have gotten up to 25 cent clicks so i am happy with it.
