I posted 1000+ answers on fitness niche with the affiliate link, but no one purchased it. What is the reason ?
I don't know Jaya Exactly what the problem be, it could be a lot of factors, but first I'm going to assume your sending them to one of the "better converting" fatloss affiliates, so I'm going to say possibly it is that your in a High COmpetition market, and that not a lot of keywords got ranked that high. Now if you posted 1,000 clicks and no sales, then something will def be wrong. So it's probably not the method that's not working, but the traffic and SEO that is failing. About how many clicks are you getting a day? Vene
If you try to sell in Yahoo Answers, that won't work. You have to act like you are trying to help, not sell something. For example link to your article, which then links to your landing page...
Yahoo answers didn't convert for me either. Even though they are targeted, most of those people already have it set in their head that they want a free answer. Hence why they're using yahoo answers.
That's not always true, I did a LOT of posting around, and got a decent conversion rate, after posting something like 120 answers in a day, I managed about 4 sales of a pretty highly priced very low gravity product. You have to act like you're helping them, do a recommendation and tell them how the product helped you, your family, whatever plus it's more helpful to answer as soon as the question opens, it leads them to check out the page very soon if they're desperate for answers and they might be more convinced to try out a paid solution instead of all the freebies that inevitably follow with yahoo answers.
Very well said. Yahoo answers is like a forum for lazy people. They want people to sort out their problems for them. Spamming your hoplink will not only get you banned but won't result in much, if not any sales. How many hops did you accumulate anyway?
Lazy is the keyword. The funny thing is that most of the answers can be Googled in less time than it took for them to ask the question.
Thats true, on yahoo answers persons are looking for quick fixes to their problems, you have to show them how the product you are promoting helped you overcome whatever and then you have to convince them that buying your recommended product will work for them just the same. Do not blatanlty advertise anything.
I won a seo contests by creating a blog and posting it on yahoo answers, the blog was indexed within hours and on the first page in a day. Yahoo answers is very well known for that. So if you say you post 1000 answers and you did it correctly you should get traffic to your site.
Yahoo answers dont bring traffic on SE. It brings traffic on people looking back at answers for reference. So when someone picks yours as best answer and says like "wow thanks the site worked great" thats definitely going to bring you some customers.
Yes I understand that, I've used Yahoo Answers in the past and they can drive some nice traffic. They don't have much SEO value tho.
SEO.. no you're right.. some questions I have seen rank for odd keywords or questions, but other than that your right.. but they do bring in great traffic.. from analytics those who came from yahoo stay on my page longer, and have less of a bounce rate.
