    Hello;
    I have many mailing lists and I want to use them for Marketing but I don't know how to send an email for about 1000000 persons.
    What do you suggest to me?
    thank you .

    Something like autoresponder plus will do the job. Just make sure those 1000000 people are CONFIRMED optins.

    A script is just an emailing software that runs from a server.

    I think sending that many emails would take time, bulk or not. After all the mail server would have to put them on queue for precessing.

    You can't just blast them out in one shot, what you can do is to get hold of email software that allows for throttling or you will be most likely tarpitted by the ISPs. I hope you aren't spamming are you?

    Good point SuperDigg.

    Yes, this would take a lot of time. So, you might want to hire a buld mail sending company to handle this for you. If you're determined to go this route. I don't recommend it because it could have potential legal ramifications. But if you do go this route, use some bulk server and direct to a web page that has an opt in form. This way you can verify the signups and legally use them.

    An autoresponder software placed on your server might work. This way you could both send out the emails and verify them at the same time. Of course, this could also get your server/site blacklisted as well.

    I would suggest you don't send that many emails at once, your service could get marked as spam and it would go in their spam box

    Well.. I did bulk email on the past for about 10 millions e-mails.. in a dial-up connection.. long time ago. It takes times. Even if you have a 1 mb connection. Don't kid yourself, there isn't a way to send the 1 million e-mail at the same time... I don't know any software that do that. Probally you will have to pick a software, and than let it sending e-mail for the rest of the day.

    If it's like Spam, first check out if your hosting company or something is against it. When I did it, my hosting company blocked my hosting. My hosting company had very strong rules against spam.

    I don't do it anymore, because I hate spam.. anyway. Don't recommend it.. to anyone.

    There are a few companies that do that for you. Google for mail sending service or something similar.

    If you send those all out from your computer your ISP will absolutely rape you, you are best off using a service for that type of thing.
