Get out of the sandbox in 3-5 days

I read this a long time ago on an old Black Hat blog. I can't remember which, but it works!

Simple process, incredibly effective.

To pull it off, you'll need to have an old indexed domain sitting in your toolbox.

Let's say that domain is MyEstablishedSite.com

Your new sandboxed site is MyNewSite.com

1. Take all the files from MyNewSite and upload them to a subfolder on your established site.

2. Create a subdomain for the replica site:
MyNewSite.MyEstablishedSite.com

3. Link to your new replica from the main page of MyEstablishedSite.com

4. Ping Google to ensure that it knows to come and re-spider.

5. Let Google index the replica site.

6. 301 redirect your replica site to the real MyNewSite.com

And just like that, Google assumes that your site has been moved. You hop on the established authority of your old site and fast track your way out of the sandbox in a matter of days.

Don't believe me? Try it! Unless something drastic has changed (I haven't needed to use the method for a few months), it should still be working.

 

Does it really works? I will try it.

 

Like I said, I haven't used the technique in 3 or 4 months. So if it's no longer working, well, time to get cracking on a new solution.

I've used it in the past, however, on about a dozen sites and the large majority bypassed the sandbox within a week. Google assumes the replica site has simply been moved.

It's like if you re-directed your main established site to a new domain, or had a name change - you wouldn't expect it to be sandboxed!

Same logic applies here.

 

Great tip man. I have some domains in sand box and I will try to do this. I think this is really a redirect, google has no mean to discover it.

I think i might give it ago, the question is 'does it work?' im having problems with a customers site, the last thing i want to do is make it worse.

Hmm, i just link to my new sites from the estabilized ones and i dont event know what is sandbox, cause they get indexed and on top #50 in a few days.

But this looks promising, got a new one with major competition - 37 million results - and i'll try this out.

Yeah, I did something similar, though with no intent to "trick" Google - migrated all the links, not even to a new site, just rewrote them a little because I changed the structure of the site - used 301 redirect on the old links, 1 for 1. Hey presto, I was back in the listings for a month or so, but guess what? Now it's shoved me out again. Really frustrating...

 

I had a website sandboxed and all it took was to go to a popular but not too busy forum that was related in content to my website and used a link to my site in the signature and voila, I was out of the sandbox the next day. That's my experience and may not work for all.

 

Get a few PR5 links at relevant sites and sandbox is gone. This is the easiest method.

Hey, I guess these are great tips...however, a sandboxed site might have quite a few reasons...look at your Title and Meta tags in different webpages, if many of them have used similar ones, you'd better change them ASAP.
