Whether Link in a wordpress theme considered spam by Google?

    Do you think link in a wordpress theme at the bottom is considered as spam? I am really interested to buy link in the wordpress theme bottom. So your answer help me to invest in this aspect of link building...

    It depends on the link of course. Spammy anchor text will be considered spam by Google.
    If it's your company name it's OK. However too generic and high volume keywords as anchor text will be flagged as spam.
