clichéd patriotism and corny songs always make me gag. I have sympathy for the guy, He lost a leg, Which i think is a great motivation for him claiming the war was worth it. after all, who wants to lose a limb for nothing? It must be more comforting for him to espouse wishful thinking than to accept his leg was taken for no good reason.

Why is his opinion that the war was worth it, less less meaningful then yours that it wasn't? Plus a person who spent a year in Iraq would have a better understand of the situation there then you would.

He lost a limb for a reason. You must live a sad miserable life being Jealous of the United States of America. The anti-American crap you spew across the net is pathetic. I would love to see you talk that crap face to face with the Mr. Obama guy.

What exactly would i jealous of? Americas failing economy? Your pitiful education system? Or perhaps your obesity epidemic?

If i met this guy i would say exactly the same thing. Losing a limb doesn't make someone impervious to opposite views. I would suggest that his belief that the war was "worth it" is at least partly because living with the belief that he lost a leg for nothing would make losing the leg even harder, And no amount of feigned outrage from you will change that. And even if it could be proven to not be the case why does his testimony carry more weight than all of the serving soldiers who oppose the war?

I know if i lost a limb it would make it easier if i thought i had lost it for a good cause, Even if i had to trick myself into believing i lost it for a good cause.

You are mighty brave from the confines of the computer screen. :D I don't think your economy is breaking records. We do have a few folks over weight that is true. But we do not have the teeth problem your country has. Braces anyone?:D:rolleyes:

lol you are joking right? I'll try to find you the video of a documentary where European children openly laugh at the syllabus used in american schools.

You are entitled to your own opinions, But you aren't entitled to your own version of reality.

Though it's an incorrect stereotype i would take a criticism of teeth over a criticism of overall health, Education, Financial stability and eating disorders any day.

We have signs in lifts which read "maximum load 8 persons, Or 3 american tourists".

Stox you are quite the amusing Englishman.

:D @ everyone else. Stox is not the typical person from London. The people are quite nice and respectful to the American tourist. He must have lost his girl to an American GI on leave.:eek::D

Well son of a bitch. What I really meant was "engineered" anyway. Still doesn't negate the point I was making. I'm sure most of the engineers were American, and it come from an American company(know for a fact Woz and Jobs are American) that is pretty much credited with creating the first personal computer that is the predecessor to all modern computers. It runs American made software like Google(ooh, Google, there's another one) maps, etc.
It's hypocritical of you to keep yammering on about how stupid we are.
