There's no requirement that C&Ds have to be sent via email or postal mail only.
Then again, they don't even have to be sent to begin with.

Hand the domain over for free and you will be worry-free. And good deeds are just like Boomerangs - they also come back to you at some stage :) sometimes when you least expect it.

However, If you refuse, you will have legal problems and legal fees to pay.

I know what I would choose.

isn't it has to be at least a registered letter, or else you can claim it went through the spam mail, lost in mail etc, and never received the notification :) they have to prove they told you with some sort of documentation, no?

A registered letter is required as notification for a filed case. Beyond that, read
    my post above.

Yea thats what I told them.. They want my domain they have to pay like me.. But then they told me that I would have to give it to them for free. and pay the transfer fees....

    Just emails...

Just emails... haha the mail cost to much for them..

After he threatened my to hurt my family. well I guess the best way to put it is he will have now pull these websites out of cold dead hands. Hes the one who said he was going to hurt my family.. How much I am not sure.. But hopefully this guy will have good luck finding me.. Because I have privacy on my domain names.. and I contacted the company who i bought the domain name from and so far nothing has went through yet.

I agree, he must be worried out of his mind someone else might be profiting from his silly crossfit name. Tell the dude to fuck off and change all your whois information to PRIVATE.

Make sure you answer the ICANN letter ( if any ).

And if he does get a hold of you, simply say you are deceased and the domains are going to expire. lol

haha yea.. this guy the starter of crossfit is really nuts.. i think the only reason why his thing is getting popular is because he is forcing people to do his work out because if you don't he may threaten to kill your family too just like he did with mine.

lol people are pathetic man. Give him a set price and deal with un-traceable traveler's checks or something if he does want to buy.

You still haven't contacted the police if the guy threatened your family?

Dan is right. If he threatened you, then it is against the law, and you can press charges. If he continues to send you email, then tell him to stop or else you file harassment suit (actually, maybe just put him on spam mail list cause you dont want him to find you and hurt your family) But keep the letters/emails as evidence that he threatened you in case he finds you. Maybe it is also a quack that is pretending to be him.

This is correct. I had the City of New York give me a hard time about two domain names. As long as I was not selling anything that was part of the trademark they held, I was fine. I basically told them if they would like to purchase the domains, I would sell them. This was after I spoke to a lawyer.

As long as you are in a different niche, they can not say you can not have the words cross and fit in the domain...

Lawyers have way to much time on their hands.
