Can anybody please answer few questions? I am new to affiliate marketing. 1) Can I market products on a new website? I just bought a domain relating to coupons and will make a website soon. Do advertisers have any problems accepting new domains to market their products? 2) I know that advertisers can track clicks all the way down to payment. But can a publisher track just to be sure that advertiser is not cheating on payment? 3) Do affiliate networks charge publishers any fee? 4) For a coupon website, how would the goal conversion work? Will it be till the customer buys a product? 5) What if somebody buys a product but then return it later. Will it affect the publishers payment? 6) Any tips on how to carry on affiliate marketing? Things I should know being a newbie? Things I should beware of?

Hi! To answer some of your questions: 1) No, many advertisers accept new websites- you have to start somewhere! 2) Hmm, that would be hard, you would be able to track traffic but probably not sales. You would have to go with a reputable site. One that offers daily statistic updates so that you can see the stats for yourself. 3) They should not, otherwise it's not worth it. 4) Not real familiar with a coupon website. 5) It differs between companies, most likely there will be a return or a chargeback in commission. 6) Yes, but you will learn this in time. One of the best ways to learns is by trial and error.
Register at clickbank and find you 3 well converting products that pay at least $20.00 per sale. Then get domains and write as many articles as possible along with ppc and forum marketing.
